Welcome to BodyVisualizer, a web application that helps you explore your body measurements through interactive 3D avatars powered by SMPL-based technology. By accessing or using BodyVisualizer, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please discontinue using the service.
BodyVisualizer provides sliders, presets, and visualization tools for body measurement insights. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes, provide accurate measurement inputs, and comply with all local, national, and international regulations that apply to your use of body analytics.
Account Creation: Certain features (such as saving measurement presets) require an account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all actions taken under your account.
User Responsibilities: Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account or any security breach.
All content, algorithms, SMPL assets, visualizations, and interface elements provided through BodyVisualizer are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The BodyVisualizer platform is maintained by the Perceiving Systems group of the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems.

BodyVisualizer collects limited personal data to personalize your experience. This includes account credentials, optional saved measurements, usage analytics, and device diagnostics. Details about our data practices are described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these terms, misuse measurement tools, or otherwise harm BodyVisualizer, other users, or third parties. You may also delete your account at any time within your profile settings.
BodyVisualizer is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantees about the precision of rendered body shapes or the suitability of measurement insights for medical, fitness, or therapeutic decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the BodyVisualizer team and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of—or inability to use—the service, including decisions you make based on measurement outputs.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the BodyVisualizer team, its licensors, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiations and, if necessary, binding arbitration or proceedings in the relevant courts.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, the revised version will be posted here with an updated effective date, and we will provide in-app notifications where appropriate. Continued use of BodyVisualizer after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
